CES producers feature Kardome Voice AI as coolest tech

CES 2026 is officially wrapped, and it was a defining week for Kardome in the push toward truly human-like voice interactions.

Over the course of the show, we delivered hundreds of live demos to automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, engineers, product leaders, and media from around the world. CES is anything but a controlled environment. It’s loud, unpredictable, and full of overlapping conversations—making it the ideal setting to demonstrate what happens when Voice AI is designed for the real world, not the lab.

Kardome featured by CES producers as the “coolest tech”

We are honored to be included in the official CES producers’ segment, “This Is the Coolest Tech at CES 2026.” The producers specifically highlighted our unique Voice AI technology, which is designed to perform effectively in real-world environments.

CES hosts Brian Tong and Justine Ezarik visited our booth to experience a demonstration of Kardome’s Spatial Hearing and Cognition AI firsthand inside a vehicle. Our advanced Voice UI instantly identifies the speaker, their location, and their intent, enabling a natural, conversational response without the need for traditional wake words.

Official Launch: Cognition AI brings context-aware Voice AI to reality

Cognition AI launched

During CES, we officially introduced Cognition AI, Kardome’s new on-device technology that enables devices to understand who is speaking, what was said, and what the user means—within conversational context.

Cognition AI goes beyond recognizing words. It interprets intent, follows conversational flow, and enables human-like voice interactions without rigid commands or repeated wake words. Combined with Kardome’s Spatial Hearing AI, it allows voice interfaces to respond the way people expect them to—accurately, fluidly, and in real time. Read the announcement here.

Voice AI proven under real-world conditions

At CES, we showcased how Kardome’s Voice AI performs when noise, multiple speakers, and constant distraction are the norm rather than the exception.

Kardome Automotive: A complete in-car voice experience

Our in-car experience showcased Kardome Automotive as a complete, on-device Voice AI system powered by Spatial Hearing AI and Cognition AI working together in real time. Spatial Hearing AI continuously mapped the in-cabin acoustic scene, precisely localizing and isolating each speaker by seat and position—even with multiple people speaking at once, music playing, and constant ambient noise from the show floor. This ensured clean, reliable voice capture without requiring additional microphone hardware or ideal conditions.

At the same time, Cognition AI interpreted the interaction as it unfolded—identifying who was speaking, understanding what was said, and determining intent within conversational context. Rather than relying on rigid commands or repeated wake words, the system followed natural conversational flow, enabling intuitive, hands-free interaction for every passenger.

Interactive Kiosks: Hearing clearly in public spaces

Alongside the automotive experience, we also demonstrated how Kardome’s Spatial Hearing AI performs in open, highly chaotic environments. We placed our interactive kiosk experience directly on the CES show floor, surrounded by overlapping conversations, loudspeakers, and constant background noise. Using a predefined physical listening zone, the system focused exclusively on the user’s voice within that zone—blocking out all other noise and hearing the user clearly every time. Step outside the zone, and the system intentionally ignores everything else.

This capability resonated strongly with teams building kiosks, airport systems, restaurants, retail experiences, and other busy public spaces—environments where reliable voice interaction has historically been challenging.

What’s next

The momentum from CES continues. From January 21–23, Tokai Electronics will feature Kardome’s Spatial Hearing AI at Automotive World Japan, showcasing Kardome Automotive to approximately 1,500 attendees from the Japanese automotive ecosystem.

We also announced the official product launch of Cognition AI this month. Cognition AI enables devices to understand speech in context, identify speakers, and interpret intent naturally and in real time—bringing Voice AI one step closer to how people actually communicate.

Where voice goes from here

CES 2026 made one thing clear: voice interfaces only work when systems can both hear clearly and understand meaning in context, especially in noisy, real-world environments.

Voice UI doesn’t need more commands.

It needs understanding.

If you’re exploring how to bring reliable, human-like voice interaction into vehicles, devices, or shared spaces, we’d welcome the opportunity to continue the conversation.
